Guide to purchase a right laptop

As the demands for laptops keeps on increasing, the number of manufacturers does go up..Many fall for their vivid and eyecatching ads, ending uo with a garbage laptop.Let us review few considerations for a good laptop,Laptop, once purchased, cant be cheaply upgraded. So investing in a right laptop, matters a lot.

Motherboard-The most essential part of laptop..The user can choose between Intel orAMD based motherboards while there are dozen other manufacturers out there.Think about your nature of usage and facilities you require in ur laptop.Depending on it,choose the right one.

PROCESSOR-I suggest you to go for the one behind the latest available processors. This way,it costs cheaper and performs more than satisfaction.Intel and AMD provide better performance in its own reasons.

RAM and HARD DISK- Depending upon the choice of ur OS,choose the RAM capability..Do keep in mind if you are a serious gamer or video enthusiastic(you need more RAM dude)..2 GB will fulfill all your desires..The next issue is the storage memory..Why go for less storage when costs less?? A hard disk with 320 GB,preferably SATA,keeps your laptop on and on..Specialised users can opt 560GB..Kingston and Transcend are the popular RAM manufacturers and Seagate ranks high in hard disks manufacturing sectors.

GRAPHICS CARD- The other important visual component is this card.I recommend using nVIDIA as they provide better performance than rival Ati cards..You can feel the difference while playing games and in multimedia.A cost effective card will be Geforce 8600GS/GT from nVIDIA..Am just suggesting,u can select desired card from their websites.

LCD SCREEN
-Here comes the big debate..14’’?? 17”” 15.4”” or a 12’’ which screen fits better?? Its difficult to answer this question But..

14’’ must be most favourite one..Its the popular one too..It provides a blend of compactness and good resolution..Home users and students can use 14’’.

15.4’’,Hmm..I personally dislike it.Its too bulky and looks like a suitcase..But its cheap

12’’ looks sleek and you can marvel its design for ages..But the screen size is little small and hence may not please all the audience. But for an executive,it’s a must..Its really cool.

BATTERY
-Next on the checklist is the battery and heat sinking capabilities.A battery with long standby time easily wins the heart of everyone. But look out,the heat dissipation must be checked out.Too much of heat coming out from your laptop might discomfort you..This will reduce your usage time(even if standby time is longer)
So,I think I have submitted a few necessary and vital tips for purchasing a laptop..
……...Happy Computing…….
